Security comes first in this day and age, and AWS is making sure it’s ahead in terms of protecting users from threats. It has previously introduced AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall), which protects your web applications from attacks and exploits. AWS WAF lets you manage access control lists, rules, and conditions. This effectively allows you to grant or deny access to your application features, and defend against unwarranted SQL injection.
AWS has announced that you can now use AWS WAF with AWS Application Load Balancers. ALB lets you run the Elastic Load Balancing service on your applications. You can create routing rules that affect any number of EC2 containers or instances.
You can learn more about this feature here. If you wish to address the security of your enterprise’s applications on the AWS cloud, contact AWS partner PolarSeven for more information.
