Amazon WorkSpaces lets users work and collaborate on the cloud. You get a full-managed and secure virtual desktop that lets you work from home or abroad, and provides users with access to documents, applications and resources using any supported device.
AWS has announced that they have increased the root volume for Workspaces from 60Gb to 80Gb. This means more space for installing applications or storing data.
This improvement is free–no additional cost will be placed on the user. All new WorkSpaces will have 80Gb root volumes, while existing ones can do a rebuild to obtain the increased space.
