The AWS CloudFormation service lets you easily manage your collection of related AWS services and resources by collating them into stacks. CloudFormation also uses templates to readily display and tie together the services you use in an orderly fashion.
In answer to some requests from users, you may now create and use CloudFormation templates that you designed yourself. With the new CloudFormation Designer, you can now make and edit templates through a simple GUI. You can access this service free at the AWS CloudFormation Console.
Additionally, CloudFormation now supports the following services as of today: Amazon Aurora, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS Directory Service Simple AD, EC2 Spot Fleet, and Amazon WorkSpaces.
