The AWS Cryptography team proudly announced that they have developed an Encryption SDK. This SDK is designed to allow developers to create easier encryption for their applications.
When developers use encryption, they often have problems with 1) making and using the encryption key and 2) protecting the key once it’s been used.
To address these issues, the AWS Encryption SDK provides a library that implements low-level details through the cryptographic provider in the developer environment. The library also provides an interface where the developer can decide how they want to protect their keys.
As such, the SDK makes it simpler for developers to do encryption, and as such frees up more time for them to do higher level tasks.
