AWS WorkSpaces provides an efficient, collaborative, and secure working environment. Aside from being fast and responsive as a regular desktop or laptop, it also protects your files from hardware problems. Should your hard drive crash, you only need to fix your machine, then log back onto AWS WorkSpaces and get back to your project.
From now on, you can start adding tags to WorkSpaces. You can do this through the AWS Management Console, the command line interface, or the API. These tags let you manage and monitor your WorkSpaces so you can identify what they are for and how much they cost you.
You may use tags to group WorkSpaces according to department, client, vendor, and so on. Once tagged, you may use the upcoming Tag Editor console to do several tasks: filter and sort tags, and obtain usage and cost info from tags.
You can assign up to 10 tags per WorkSpace, so you have a wide range of uses for them.
