In line with the recent AWS news on the enhanced monitoring feature for Amazon Relational Database, AWS is recommending a third-party service to help you arrange and study your data. Introducing Datadog, a monitoring program that lets you analyze historical trends and visualize live data from your stack.
You can do this by sending your monitoring data to CloudWatch, and then signing up for and sending data to Datadog. From that point onward, you can see your data mapped out on the Datadog dashboard.
