AWS Data Pipeline is a reliable service that lets data flow from one AWS service to another, whether to a compute or storage service. So you can take data from storage, efficiently transform and process it, then move it to AWS S3, RDS, DynamoDB, or Elastic MapReduce.
You may now run AWS Data Pipeline at any time, whether immediately or a schedule of your choice. If you choose to run on a schedule, it will run regularly as specified.
An even better method is to use Lambda functions that trigger AWS pipeline due to external events, such as notifications from CloudWatch.
Read more about scheduling AWS Data pipeline at the formal documentation. If you would like to know how to build the infrastructure in AWS for processing large amounts of data, contact us as at PolarSeven today.
